I love this product and have been using it for avoiding any accidents due to colour run. Mostly I try and avoid mixing my loads, but whenever I do use the mix loads, I use these amazing sheets. I also use this while using with my new coloured clothes and also with clothes having dark colours. It also helps protects against the colour brightness in your laundry as well. It prevents any of the colour run accidents and works at all temperature's. It also prevents residual dirt redepositing.
I must say I was already a fan of colour catcher, and it’s a product I use regularly. I love being able to toss things in the machine without faffing and worrying (although I must say if I’m washing something for the first time, I will still hand wash and then machine wash, if I’m concerned about the colour running). The sample I received smelt wonderful, more so than the ones I already had in the cupboard, I’m wondering if this is a new thing? If so, I love it!
I have never used colour catcher sheets before and was a bit sceptical about how successful they would be. I decided to test the sheets on a load of older clothes (whites, lighter colours and a couple darker item) before fully committing to a mixed load. I didn't expect much as most of the clothes were old and light coloured. However, the after results showed the white colour catcher sheet turned a blue/grey. I was pleasantly surprised that the sheets managed to 'catch' so much run off colour. This is definitely a game changer for me and I will be purchasing in the future
It works unbelievable well. From time to tome I would get some clothes ruined by colour coming off from textures that does not seem to do that. I used a first sheet with dark coloured clothes, just to check what it does, and a second one I used on a mix of clothes where I haven't seen any danger of colour coming off. Well, that time it saved my shirt as the colour from the flowers of another shirt were coming off. Luckily tge catcher worked
I have never used laundry sheets in the past as I always separate my whites, darks and colours. As these are recommended in a mixed wash load, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy and effective they worked. It allowed me to mix colours without the worry of them running. This ensured that I could do less washes within a week. I even put items I had recently dyed myself, and found that the sheets protected the colour of the clothing along with all the others in that wash load. Would certainly purchase again. Overall, they do exactly as they claim.
I like to separate laundry, but not everyone else in the house is so attentive to detail. Since using them when throwing everything in together on cold. So far, so good. Also I started to use these to wash some new white, red, blue and green patterned flannel before making it into a quilt and it survived with each color intact. If you also live with lazy laundry sorters, this is what you want. What every household needs ...
As I got a sample package, I can't talk about the real packaging, but I didn't like it being wrapped in plastic. A biodegradable or recycleable alternative would have been much better. I liked the little info sheet, it has all necessary information about the colour cather and its sister products. The product itself is nothing revolutionary - it's a colour cather. But it does the job well, protecting clothes that are a bit random in colour. I'd overall recommend this product, but I do have to wonder about its ecological footprint.
As someone who hasn't previously used 'colour catcher' sheets, I was curious to see the result. They are very easy to use and I was pleasantly surprised that it did indeed 'catch' some colour in a similarly coloured washload. The clothes looked brighter too, so I was very pleased. They are a simple and useful addition to wash days as it saves you having to sort your laundry. A good product that I will continue to use.
A well known household product that surprisingly I had not tried before. My family members had spoke about this so I had high hopes, and I was not disappointed. I was able to wash different colours together without the worry of transfer. My clothes were left clean and sparkling. A great product for the environment and the planet in the long run. Effective and efficient, I would repurchase!
Works really well! I crochet and had just finished a blanket in red and cream yarn. I was nervous about washing my project Incase the yarn colour ran into the cream and turned it pink, but the sheets caught any colour that ran and left my blanket looking the same as it did when I put it in for the wash. Really impressed and will be using more often, both on projects and on every day laundry
