It’s so easy to pop in the tank and then watch as your toilet is re-freshed with each flush. It’s really satisfying to see that rush of blue each time and know that it’s one less scrub you’ll need to do at the end of the week. Bloo really keeps your toilet that bit cleaner across the week and helps to keep the dreaded limescale at bay under the rim. This was a good quality product. Easy to use, I liked the fact that the toilet bowl was blue so you could see it was working and cleaned with every flush. Easy to position in cistern. From a waste perspective the packaging and product were a lot more recyclable compared to other products in this line. It didn’t clear the limescale in my toilet below the water line (most cleaning products don’t). It didn’t last as long as I was expecting or as long as other products - a toilet duck gel disc type product normally lasts about 4 weeks in my toilet and this product only lasted 2. Sometimes the blue colour in the toilet meant you weren’t able to keep an eye on urine colour - I have to monitor this for a health condition to check I don’t get dehydrated and it was always green in the toilet! All in all though a good quality product that does the job well and better for the environment due to better packaging and waste.

Ok so I do try keeping my house tidy and clean but with 3 kids I find it very hard to keep it up. I received this great product free its called Bloo Toilet Block. So I lifted up my lid of my tank on my Toilet and placed the Bloo Toilet Block inside the tank please make sure to place it on the opposite side of your water flow. The scent is really lovely I could smell it through the packaging we got original blue. I love that it has an active ingredient to prevent limescale. It's supposed to last 400 flushes but depends on how much you use your Toilet and with 3 kids it's constantly in use. It lasted for about 3 weeks but I was very pleased with this. I was very impressed with the Bloo toilet block, in the past products of this type have put me off using due to the overly chemical smell you can sometimes get using similar products which you don't get with these Bloo toilet blocks. I liked that the colour wasn't too vivid either, once flushed you can tell that the blocks have cleaned effectively, there's a slight foaming action and a subtle blue tint to the toilet water, the fragrance is also quite subtle which again I prefer as I don't like an overly masking fragrance. I will definitely be buying another Bloo toilet block to replace once this current one has fully dispersed as I found it very effective and an overall pleasant experience to use!

I would say that i wasn't overly impressed with the bloo block apart from it being simple to drop into the cistern. I found that after only a few flushes the blue colour faded dramatically, although i must say it is great at removing limescale and has a low scent that isn't overpowering for some people however i like to use clean scents and be able to smell those scents a lot more. I think I'm just inclined to stick with using products that i am familiar with and as i enjoy the clean smells within my bathroom and like long lasting scents and products. I would probably use the blocks along with some other products but i prefer to manually clean the toilet to my satisfaction so I'm certain that its clean and remains clean. I think this product would be more suited to someone that has less time to spend cleaning and doesn't have a busy household with a lot of flushing involved. I also think for someone who struggles to manually clean regularly etc this would be a great help as it just involves dropping the bloo block into the cistern and then left until a new one needs to be added. I think the concept is a great idea just wish it lasted longer and was more fragrant.
